safety AND FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
The Hypnotherapy sessions offered and practised by Hearts and Minds Therapy Limited's registered practitioners create a very safe trance-like mind state for you, obtained through approved and regulated hypnotic induction techniques.
This hypnotic induction is a natural experience that you have may well have already entered before when you have been absorbed in a book, movie or task that makes you feel like you have lost time.
The hypnotherapist assigned to you has the ability to induce this state during your session allowing them to directly communicate to you via your subconscious, allowing them to help you with the resolution of the reason you are attending the sessions.
WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS OF HYPNOSIS?
There are no known side-effects to hypnosis other than recipients noting a very relaxing and enjoyable experience.
WILL YOU SAY OR DO THINGS THAT YOU WOULD NOT NORMALLY DO
IF YOU WERE NOT HYPNOTISED?
Not at all! You cannot be persuaded to go against your own beliefs or moral coding.
Your subconscious would have conflict with the suggestions and wouldn't allow them to manifest.
CAN EVERYONE BE HYPNOTISED?
It is possible for anyone to be hypnotised, but there are a few people who will find it harder to accept the process.
If you are truly open to the experience and can allow yourself to fully relax during a session, it is highly likely that you will enter into the required state of consciousness to allow treatment.
We offer several techniques that can be used to help induce this mindset, and we are there to find the way that works best for you.
HOW AM I PROTECTED AS A CLIENT?
All of our practitioners are members of the National Hypnotherapy Society and we work within their code of ethics at all times.
This system of structured and professional oversight ensures that as a client, you will always be treated fairly and with respect and our membership also allows you to use the NHS complaints procedure, should you ever feel that the code of ethics hasn't been followed.
